Support James’ Cycling for Peace

August 5, 2014 | Jonathan Levy

Warrington-born James Ross will be cycling the Prudential Ride London/Surrey 100 this forthcoming Sunday 10th August on the Olympic Road Circuit to raise vital funds for the Foundation’s work.

Although James now lives in Oxfordshire, he has strong links with his home town of Warrington which he visits regularly to see his parents, sister and friends.

James said:

“Our aim this year is to try and complete the race in five hours, and I’m delighted to represent the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace as my father has links with the Peace Centre through Warrington Rotary Club and business, and on the day of the bombing I was fortunately playing football for Boys Brigade in Burtonwood, otherwise I would have been with my friends outside McDonald’s.

“I’m hoping to raise £1,000 and if anyone feels that they would like to help me raise that amount then I’d be very grateful if they would visit my Virgin Money Giving page.”

The Foundation is very grateful for James’ support. To sponsor him, please go to
