Spring Charity Ball – 22nd anniversary celebrations
March 20, 2015 | Nick Taylor
The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace is to stage an anniversary ball at the Park Royal, Stretton, Warrington on Saturday 21 March 2015.
The ball will bring together businesses from across the area to celebrate the founding of the charity twenty years ago in 1995. The event coincides with the 22nd anniversary of the Warrington bombing that led to the deaths of Tim, Johnathan and Bronwen Vickers with 53 others injured and many thousands of people affected. Out of such a tragic event came the Foundation and our work in the prevention, resolution and response to violent conflict is needed more than ever before.
The anniversary ball is a black tie event and includes a champagne drinks reception, a full dinner, a casino and entertainment (including ITV’s Paul Crone as MC and the Men in Black magic show). The Park Royal offer guests discounted rooms for those who want to enjoy the luxury hotel’s facilities for the entire weekend.
Tabes for ten people cost £500 (reserved with a £150 deposit). All proceeds after costs of the meal and entertainment go direct to the charity and this is a vital fund raiser. The event is not only great value but brings together a ‘who’s who’ of the Warrington business and opinion former community and is a fantastic networking opportunity as well as a chance to enjoy and relax at one of the area’s top hotel and entertainment centres.
Please support us and celebrate the great contribution made for peace by Warrington.
