Road Improvement Work near the Peace Centre

From Monday 10 March 2014, night time road closures (and some day time changes and restrictions) will be in place outside and on approach to the Peace Centre on the A574 Cromwell Avenue, Warrington while major highway improvements are carried out.
The temporary prohibition of driving order will affect Cromwell Avenue from its junction with the A57 Sankey Way to its junction with Canons Road roundabout including access to Peace Drive and the Peace Centre.
There will be other restrictions including Cromwell Avenue South on the David Lloyd side of the A57 as this will be affected from its junction with Sankey Way for a distance of about 100 metres in a southerly direction.
The A57 Sankey Way (east bound) will be affected from its junction with the A57 Liverpool Road/A562 Penketh Road roundabout to its junction with A574 Cromwell Avenue.
The A57 Sankey Way (west bound) will be affected from its junction with Sankey Green roundabout to its junction with Cromwell Avenue South.
There will also be temporary footpath closures, bans on right turns and speed restrictions.
The restrictions are expected to come to be in force for 16 weeks/.
The closures are likely to be in force only between 22:00 (10pm) and 07:00 (7am) – watch the signs for details.
The Peace Centre remains fully open and operational during this period.
