New film from the Foundation for Peace

March 22, 2015 | Nick Taylor

A new film is being released to show the amazing work undertaken by the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace.  The film has been released to coincide with the 22nd anniversary of the IRA bombing in Warrington and to show the work the Foundation undertakes as it celebrates twenty years of operation.

Produced, filmed and directed by Ken Horn who’s work spans from working on Mersey TV on productions such as Brookside through to hard hitting documentaries, the film shows some of the work undertake by the Foundation.  It is an emotionally difficult film to watch but presents a powerful seven minute overview of the Foundation’s work.

The Foundation is one of very few organisations that is countering extremism on the front line in schools and communities and through ground breaking projects based out of the international Peace Centre in Warrington.  The Foundation also assists victims and survivors of terrorism and operates the UK Survivors Assistance Network.
