His role is to lead the organisation; developing its strategic priorities in line with the trustee board’s vision; directing the business and commercial development; building the ground breaking national and international role in conflict resolution and peace building.

Kelly Simcock – Director of Commissions Kelly_Simcock Contact: kelly.simcock@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581237 Linkedin : Kelly Simcock Kelly is the Director of Commissions and has worked with the Foundation for over 10 years. Her role places  sees her directing the Foundation’s Peace Programme and strategy with the Prevention, Resolution and Response Programmes falling under her remit. As a practitioner with some 10 years+ experience, she has designed, delivered and managed tailored programmes and interventions in communities across the UK and has led the Foundation’s international programme work. Kelly Co-Chairs the European Commission’s Radicalisation Awareness Network-Prevent working group.

Christine Cox – Programme Manager Christine Contact : christine.cox@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581239 Christine joined the Foundation in November 2014. Her role is as Programme Manager of the Peace Programme which spans three strands of prevention, resolution and response to violent conflict. Christine has over ten years experience as a practitioner and project manager in conflict resolution and peace building both within the UK and internationally.

Jemma Buntin – Project Manager, THINK Project Jemma_Buntin Contact: jemma.buntin@foundation4peace.org 01925 581201 Jemma joined the Foundation in July 2014 and is Project Manager for the THINK project. Jemma has qualified teacher status and previously worked as a secondary school drama teacher. Jemma has extensive experience working with young people with special/additional needs.

Terry O’Hara – Project Manager Survivors Assistance Network and Reconciliation projects Terry_OHara Contact: terry.ohara@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581237 Terry joined the Foundation in early 2013.  He has experience in the management of critical and major incidents, crisis negotiation and business improvement. He is responsible for programme development and exploring further opportunities for the Foundation.

Ann Beswick – Programme Professional Ann_Beswick Contact: ann.beswick@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581207 Ann joined the Foundation in January 2013 after 33 years in the Police. She is responsible for the delivery of programmes to support victims of extremist violence and terrorism,  ex-service personnel and emergency responders.

Donna Craine – Programme Professional Donna Contact : donna.craine@foundation4peace.org or 1925 581259 Donna has recently joined the Foundation in November 2014, her previous role was with the charity Shelter working to prevent homelessness for individuals from vulnerable groups. She is responsible for the delivery of programmes to support victims of extremist violence and terrorism,  ex-service personnel and emergency responders.

COMMISSIONS MANAGEMENT OFFICE (CMO)

Neil Renwick –  Development Officer, CMO.  Neil_Renwick Contact : neil.renwick@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581243 Neil joined the Foundation in November 2013. He provides research assistance, focusing on developing the evidence base for the social value and impact of the Foundation’s work, as well as supporting the investment and contract readiness programme. Neil’s background is in academic research, teaching and advocacy—of history, international relations, and political economy.

Harriet Vickers – Research Officer, CMO.  Harriet Contact: harriet.vickers@foundation4peace.org Harriet joined the Foundation in January 2015, as an intern sponsored through the Rank Foundation’s Time to Shine internship programme. She is joining the Commissions Management Office to support ongoing and future  projects within the Foundation’s Programme. Harriet’s role as research officer will help explore and inform strategic research areas within the organisation’s three main work areas, prevention, resolution, and response.

OPERATIONS

Brian Povey – Finance Manager Brian_Povey Contact: brian.povey@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581231 Brian joined in March 2014 on a part-time basis to provide accountancy & book-keeping services, and is responsible for all financial records. He previously worked as a senior auditor at Grant Thornton for 30 years.

Tracy Holland – AdministratorTracy_Holland Contact: tracy.holland@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581231 Tracy joined the team as a part-time administrator in June 2014. Born in Warrington, she worked for a local mobile telephone service provider from the birth of the industry in the 1980’s and has over twenty years’ experience in administration and office management.

FUNDRAISING

Wendy Parry – Peace Centre Development and Charity Events Wendy_Parry Contact: wendy.parry@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581234 Wendy, Tim’s mother and co-founder of the Foundation, is responsible for organising events, locally-based fundraising and networking amongst the business and professional community.

Jonathan Levy – Donor Management and Fund Raising Jonathan_Levy Contact : jonathan.levy@foundation4peace.org or 01925 581232 Jonathan joined the Foundation in November 2013 and is responsible for planning events, launching new campaigns and ways of generating income, recruiting and retaining donors, and managing our volunteer programme. Jonathan previously worked as a Parliamentary Assistant for David Mowat MP, has run a business and is a NCTJ and BJTC qualified reporter.

FACILITIES

Karen McManus – Centre Business Manager Karen_McManus Contact: kmcmanus@NSPCC.org.uk or 01925 581238 Karen joined the Foundation in December 2000 having previously worked in many roles within United Utilities. Karen and her small team work centrally for the 3 charities based at the Peace Centre, and is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Centre, its facilities management, health and safety and managing all external bookings and the residential suite.  Karen is NEBOSH trained and Prince2 accredited.
