Madeeha and the THINK Project
August 22, 2016 | Jonathan Levy
When you hear the word ‘peace’ you’d imagine us all dressed up as hippies and sticking up peace signs. No. Here at the Peace Centre I have grown in knowledge and understanding of terrorism, how perceptions are formed and most significantly, the groups that we belong to or maybe don’t belong to.
By speaking to survivors and perpetrators, this is how we will deal with terrorism, NOT by fighting back physically or verbally. If you want to make a change, you do it peacefully, together and with dignity.
By harming others, well that is just injustice and it is time we claimed back equality.
