THE 23rd anniversary of the Warrington IRA bombing is to be commemorated by a Peace Lecture in the town delivered by BBC Middle East Editor and presenter, Jeremy Bowen.

Jeremy will visit Warrington to speak at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Centre on Thursday 24th March 2016.

The Peace Lecture takes place on Thursday 24th March 2016 – doors 19:00 – event 19:30 – 21:30.  Entrance through pre-booked and reserved ticket only – light refreshments will be served.  The event takes place at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Centre, Peace Drive, Warrington, WA5 1HQ.  The Peace Centre is ten minutes from the M62 junction 9 via the A49 and A574.  The centre has parking facilities and is accessible.  We are sited near to a number of bus routes from Warrington Interchange.  Rail links from east and west arrive at Warrington Central some 2.5 miles from the Centre – we recommend ABBA Cars (01925) 444444 or download their App.  North South West Coast mainline and Welsh services arrive at Warrington Bank Quay Stations just over one mile away from the Centre – there is a tax rank at the station exit.  All bookings via Eventbrite.
