This programme will develop an understanding and awareness of conflict issues on a personal, local, national and international level. It will provide participants with the knowledge, skills and strategies to begin managing conflict effectively and non-violently.

At the end of this programme participants will be able to:

  • Explain what the term ‘conflict’ means
  • List various causes of conflict on a local, national and international level
  • Detail ways in which conflict manifests itself giving real life examples
  • Understand their own responses to conflict and explore alternatives
