Hospitality reaches new heights at the Peace Centre

May 20, 2016 | Nick Taylor

Hospitality at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Centre has been given a resounding five-star rating as we are selected as one of the finalists at this year’s Warrington Business Awards 2016.

The Peace Centre has been named as a finalist in the category of HOSPITALITY PROVIDER OF THE YEAR
sponsored by Appitized.

The Warrington Business Awards showcase the most prestigious businesses based in Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Finalists were announced at the Warrington Business Conference on 19 May 2016 and winners will be announced at the Warrington Business Awards 2016 on Friday 10 June 2016 at a 650 capacity marquee in the grounds of Lymm Rugby Club.

The Peace Centre is a unique building that operates 24 hours  a day for virtually the full year.   The centre welcomes guests from all over the world and has to cater for a huge variety of ages, tastes and diets.  It contains a 40-bed residential complex and the Hope Cafe backed by a highly professional kitchen catering for events for any number up to 120 guests and large scale events numbering up to 200 people.

The Centre hospitality is all in-house and the kitchen designs a range of menus based on seasonal products and the needs of guests.  All food is sourced within a local 30-mile radius.  A housekeeping team of four and two handymen keep the Centre looking like new.  Our team on the day are volunteers who are trained to give the very best service  Our catering management and chefs are supported by professional consultants from the catering industry who advise on everything from menu construction through to hygiene – we are, of course, five star rated.

Ideally situated within a mile of Warrington town centre and with ample parking, the Centre is a refreshingly different venue for any event both inside and within its own grounds. The Peace Centre is much more than just a building, it’s a place where people come together, a contemporary space which can be formal or informal, with excellent public transport links.

The centre contains facilities for conferences, training seminars and company away days to promotional events. From the moment you book your event, to the time you leave, we are committed to doing everything we can to make this the best hospitality experience.

And the best bit…every penny raised goes to fund the charity work of the Foundation.

This is the second year that the Foundation has been a finalist with Jonathan Levy and Nick Taylor being finalists in the categories of Apprentice of the Year and Business Man of the Year respectively in 2015.
