#GivingTuesday

December 2, 2014 | Nick Taylor

Tuesday 2 December and we are celebrating a day dedicated to giving – when charities, families, businesses and others come together for the UK’s first #GivingTuesday.

This #GivingTuesday, we are asking you to make a real difference by helping us to wage peace not war.

We are great at what we do and there is no other organisation like us.

Survivors of terrorism, political violence and war like Annie and Jacqui are helped to rebuild their lives.

Those who risked their lives to keep us safe, like Jonathan and Keith, are provided with the skills to overcome trauma and use their experiences in a positive way.

Our THINK project helps young people to turn away from violence, and our Women Building Peace project encourages women who may have experienced violence, to develop the abilities to resolve conflict.

We are only able to continue with this vital work due to the generosity of people who support us, so please sign up here to make a one-off or regular gift.

Share Your Story

Have you been assisted by our work? By sharing your story, you could encourage someone to find out more about us, share their own story, or make a difference by volunteering at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Centre where we are based.

Tell us your story by emailing jonathan.levy@foundation4peace.org. It will be added to our website exactly as you wrote it.

By supporting us today you really will help change lives for the better. Please act now.
