Foundation’s Jonathan to support national fundraising convention
April 8, 2014 | Nick Taylor
Jonathan Levy, the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace’s fund raising apprentice has been selected as a volunteer to work at the Institute of Fundraising National Convention 2014.
The Institute had an unprecedented number of applications this year, with each available place receiving five applications.
Jonathan will join a team that will work at the three-day convention in London in July. Two thousand five hundred charity fundraisers attend the conference each year and it will be a great opportunity for Jonathan to develop towards a qualification in fundraising and to make numerous contacts for the Foundation.
Jonathan’s work with Foundation is supported by youth charity Rathbone.
The 23-year-old, who is already a trustee of the Dyspraxia Foundation, has extensive voluntary experience supporting charities and has fund raised for good causes such as Brainwave, the Royal British Legion, Walton Lea Partnership and Warrington Disability Partnership.
