Foundation speaks at Ealing Partnership Against Radicalisation and Extremism

The Foundation is speaking at the Ealing Partnership Against Radicalisation and Extremism in the London Borough of Ealing. The EPAREX project is supported by the European Commission and managed by Ealing Council’s Community Safety Directorate.
Kelly Simcock (pictured), Director of Commissions will address the conference and talk about the European perspective of radicalisation highlighting the work of the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace.
One of the main topics will be a discussion of the Government’s PREVENT agenda and the Home Office Director of the Office of Security and Counter-Terrorism will address delegates.
EPAREX principles of research and headline findings from recent work will be shared as will input form other speakers on aspects ranging from psychology and what it is to b Muslim and be British. Two projects in Ealing will be introduced. The Muslimah Matters Projects will be presented by Ealing Community and Voluntary Services and the Central Jamia Masjid, Southall. Also, Raising ‘Your Voice’ -EPAREX video diary project and screening of ‘Your Voice’ will be presented by Ealing Community and Voluntary Services.
