Interested in becoming a charity Trustee?
The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace is seeking to appoint new non executive* Trustee Directors to join its Board.
We want to appoint new Board member Trustees who have a deep interest in our work and are familiar with our history and origins.
We want Trustees who are proactive and energised by this opportunity, and want to play a part in shaping and securing the future of the Foundation.
We want Trustees who will hold the Foundation as their first priority, without other charitable positions which may compete, or conflict with the Foundation’s interests.
Applicants who have not held charity Trustee positions before, are advised to read the guidance on the role of a Trustee, which is available on the Charity Commission pages of the Government’s web portal (www.gov.uk).
We are interested in hearing from you if you meet this broad specification.
A Formal Letter registering your interest and setting out the reasons why you are interested, as well as your areas of expertise, should be addressed to: Colin Parry, Chairman and Co-Founder, c/o the Peace Centre, Peace Drive, Great Sankey, Warrington WA5 1HQ.
Please note that CV’s may be sent in with your letter – applications should be in writing and not by e-mail.
* non executive appointment in this context, means unpaid, except for the reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred in the execution of a pre approved activity, or activities on behalf of the Foundation
