Building good community relations
April 9, 2014 | Nick Taylor
Talk for a Change and International Alert (supported by Oxfam and the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust) have completed a major piece of work talking about Good Relations with 235 organisations in 11 different localities.
The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace hosted one of the locality events: read more by clicking here.
The project posed a number of questions: What kind of work is ‘good relations work’? Who is doing it? What are the challenges and issues? And how can we strengthen community relations in local areas?
Untold Stories Final Report
Over 340 people attended events across the country – they came from the voluntary, community and public sectors, including police, youth justice, and local authorities.
The final report details findings, and outlines plans for developing a national alliance for Good Relations.
