This programme will prepare and equip participants to take on the role of peer mediator by developing their understanding of the skills, roles, responsibilities and processes needed to conduct effective peer mediation.

At the end of the programme participants will be able to:

  • Explain what peer mediation is and why it is important
  • Demonstrate their skills as a peer mediator
  • Facilitate a mediation session
  • Keep themselves safe when mediating

In addition to this workshop further support can be provided in setting up a peer mediation scheme.
