Annual General Meeting welcomes new manifesto for social change

The directors met on Wednesday 28th January 2015 for the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Peace Centre in Warrington. They were joined by Patrons, the entire employee team, volunteers, beneficiaries, members of the media and local community to hear the report of progress over the last year and to hear about the launch of a new manifesto for social change.
The AGM is a formal meeting as part of the Foundation’s constitution.
The trustees of our charity, are also the directors of the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace, a company limited by guarantee. The Trustees are responsible for preparing a report and the financial statements under the Companies Act 2006 and United Kingdom accounting standards. These accounts need to give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charitable company and incoming resources and application of resources.
The accounts are audited by Bennett Brooks & Co Ltd and in terms of matters on which they are required to report by exception, the auditors confirmed they have nothing to report in respect of the Companies Act 2006 and that the financial statements give a true and fair view of the charity’s affairs at 31 March 2014 and have been prepared in accordance with all company and charity law.
The report and financial statements are published on our website CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD. They are submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission. The report is a matter of public record and can be downloaded from the Commission website or obtained from Companies House.
